Experts warn against too much canola planting in Canada

Canadian farmers are expected to plant canola in record numbers for a sixth straight year, but despite the high demand, crop specialists say farmers should only plant canola once every four years. Too much canola planting allows disease-causing microorganisms to build immunity to resistant crop varieties and can hurt production yields, the specialists say.
