How foresight, preparation can prevent cloud-migration headaches

Enterprises are eager to reap the many benefits that cloud computing offers, but experts say companies are losing valuable momentum during implementation by failing to have their IT house in order prior to migrating. Industry commentator David Linthicum writes that instead of playing catch-up, IT departments need to learn to embrace change before it happens by completing the configuration and development necessary to ensure IT resources are at least 90% productive post-transition.
