McClendon defends Chesapeake program that gave him well shares

Chesapeake Energy Chairman and CEO Aubrey McClendon defended a program that gave him shares in the company's oil and natural gas wells. McClendon was scrutinized after it was learned that he took out loans for those shares from a company that was in discussions to acquire assets from Chesapeake Energy. "American business would be run better today if there was more alignment between CEOs' interest and the company," McClendon said.
