Mystery surrounds death of some 30 alpacas on one farm

Since June, Sheila Zych has lost more than 30 alpacas to mysterious causes on her farm in Onondaga, N.Y., and officials haven't ruled out foul play or a virus. Toxicology results from Cornell University's Animal Health Diagnostic Center reported high levels of phenol and cresol in the animals' blood, but no source has been identified, and officials aren't sure if the chemicals are the cause of the deaths.
