Rules for derivatives and fixed income prompt concerns

At the TradeTech Europe event, participants voiced concerns about unintended consequences of regulations governing over-the-counter derivatives and fixed-income markets. Such rules include standardization of OTC derivatives when possible, so they can be processed through clearinghouses and trade on exchangelike platforms.
