Single living allows for space, personal growth

For the first time, less than half of U.S. homes are are husband-wife households, according to the most recent census. A growing demographic of singles are living alone and content with their solitude. "It means I'm learning a lot about myself," Washington, D.C., resident Bayar Ganzorig, 24 says. She has found "a sense of freedom in my own space that I honestly didn't realize I needed so badly."
