Kaitlyn Kirby started Babystyle Magazine in late 2011 to fill the void left by Cookie Magazine, which Conde Nast closed in 2009. Babystyle, which Kirby describes as "an online lifestyle publication for the modern parent," has drawn thousands of unique visitors to its website. "My starting Babystyle really came from recognizing an opening in the market for a modern children's lifestyle publication and attempting to fill that void," she said.
