Chesapeake sells Okla. acreage to SemGroup

SemGroup struck a deal to acquire Mississippi Lime assets in Oklahoma from Chesapeake Energy for nearly $300 million. The transaction covers 200 miles of gathering pipelines, two natural gas processing facilities and a 20-year gas gathering and processing commitment from Chesapeake. "These assets are positioned for exceptional growth and will significantly increase our strategic position in the Mississippi Lime play," said Norm Szydlowski, SemGroup's president and CEO.
