Dinneen: Comments on advanced biofuel are aimed at Brazil ethanol

The Renewable Fuels Association's request that the advanced-biofuels requirement under the Renewable Fuel Standard be lowered to curb imports of Brazilian ethanol has drawn criticism from Michael McAdams, president of the Advanced Biofuels Association. RFA President and CEO Bob Dinneen, however, downplayed the issue. "This is not a new position of ours. He knows my concern is about imported Brazilian product, not advanced biofuels produced here," Dinneen said.
