Hispanic marketing group names Wal-Mart its first Marketer of the Year

Wal-Mart has been given the first-ever Marketer of the Year award from the Hispanic marketing trade group AHAA. The organization cited Wal-Mart's commitment to doubling multicultural spending. "Wal-Mart is a good recipient because not only did they say they were going to do it, they did it," says Roberto Orci, AHAA's chairman.
