New RUS amendment in Ark. could pave way for new airstrip

A recent amendment to the Recreational Use Statutes in Arkansas could pave the way for a new airstrip in the state. Recreational Aviation Foundation member David Ellison is planning to purchase 75 acres to build a 3,000-foot turf airstrip, with the hope of providing access to camping and recreation opportunities.
