School's menu goes vegetarian in first for NYC

Public School 244 in Queens, N.Y., has gone to an all-vegetarian menu, the first school in the city and perhaps the U.S. to do so, officials say. The elementary school began by serving vegetarian lunch three times a week and gradually increased it. The school receives some help in developing healthy menus from the New York Coalition for Healthy School Food.
