Study reveals mobile hotel-booking patterns among the affluent

More than 1 in 10 affluent consumers under the age of 50 say they've made hotel reservations via mobile, according to a study. Online vacation bookings are common among the affluent, "however, mobile devices may be more appropriate for last-minute bookings and rearrangement of plans while traveling," said Ron Kurtz, president of the American Affluence Research Center, which produced the study.
