Wound-healing device may aid in treatment of diabetic foot ulcers

A clinical trial of 335 patients with hard-to-heal diabetic foot ulcers concluded that use of Kinetic Concepts Inc.'s V.A.C. Therapy wound-healing device significantly improved time to achieve wound closure and the number of wounds that closed completely, as well as improved granulation tissue formation.
