Medical groups voice concern about FDA's proposed "safe use" drugs

The American Medical Association and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology expressed concern about proposed over-the-counter "safe use" drugs at an FDA hearing. The "lack of oversight from a practitioner could be a serious concern," said the AMA's Sandra Fryhofer. The ACAAI's Bobby Lanier said the proposal is "chilling and scary."
