Progress Energy pushes back $24B Fla. nuclear project

Progress Energy has pushed back the projected startup of a proposed nuclear facility in Levy County, Fla., from 2016 to between 2021 and 2024. The utility's customers are already funneling $1.1 billion in funding toward the project, but a final decision has not been made on construction of the plant.
