Sources: Japanese trading firms lead bidders for Gavilon

Japanese trading firms Marubeni, Mitsubishi and Mitsui are on the top of the list of potential buyers of U.S. grain and energy trader Gavilon, even if they are questioning its owners over the $5 billion valuation of the company, sources said. Gavilon has the third-biggest grains marketing network in the U.S. as well as an ethanol-trading division.
