Spirit grows revenues as network expands

Spirit Airlines' revenue climbed 29.6% from last year's first quarter as capacity growth in Dallas, Chicago and Los Angeles, plus an increase in average non-ticket revenues, helped make it one of the fastest-growing domestic carriers. Average per-passenger revenue from ancillary fees broke $50 in what Spirit says is a first for the industry.
