Sprint earns $2 billion Western States contract

The Western States Contracting Association has awarded Sprint Nextel a $2 billion contract over four years to provide the 15-state consortium with various products and services, including mobile devices, unlimited data, accessories and applications. The WSCA was formed to boost the purchasing power of the states and includes governmental, public safety, utility and nonprofit groups in the region.
