Emerging markets seen as more receptive to chocolate innovation

Rinus Heemskerk, global director of innovation for ADM Cocoa, said consumers in emerging markets are "more adventurous and more open to different flavors" of chocolate because they don't have a tradition of chocolate consumption. "People who have been born and raised in the tradition of a certain product and know that flavor very well, they're generally less adventurous," he said.
