FDA gives Sorin nod on trial for sutureless aortic valve

The FDA has given Sorin the OK to start a clinical study of its Perceval S sutureless aortic tissue valve, moving the Italian cardiovascular firm closer to obtaining premarket approval for the product. The trial will involve aortic stenosis patients from as many as 25 clinical sites in the U.S.
