T-Mobile USA will take a couple of years to move MetroPCS subscribers onto its network as the Deutsche Telekom company absorbs its new unit, but there will be some immediate changes for MetroPCS customers. T-Mobile will "very shortly" allow roaming MetroPCS users access to T-Mobile's Long-Term Evolution network, said Chief Technology Officer Neville Ray. MetroPCS outlets will begin selling T-Mobile-compatible phones by June with the goal of moving MetroPCS customers off their network as quickly as possible. Also, CEO John Legere said there are no "imminent" plans for MetroPCS to sell the iPhone.
