More NYC students are identified as gifted and talented

Pearson has released revised data showing the number of students qualifying as "gifted and talented" in New York City has risen -- revising numbers released in April that showed a decline. Data now show that of the students who took exams to qualify for gifted programs, more than 32% qualified -- up from 24.5% the year before.
