Pearson Candy president Michael Keller said the company acquired the Bit-O-Honey brand from Nestle because it is an iconic product that prompts fond memories nationwide. "There’s not a single person that doesn’t know the brand," he said. "Everybody’s aware of it. It’s not a small brand or a regional brand."
