500 people download mobile app for Wis. school district

A Wisconsin school district has created a mobile application through the company ParentLink to allow district officials to connect with parents, staff and others through a one-stop-shop digital information center. The app, which costs about $1,000 annually, allows parents to access information about students' homework, sports schedules and other information. About 500 people already have uploaded the district's new application.
