European cities try to push out Uber

Many European cities are moving to block Uber's expansion into their markets under pressure from domestic taxi services. Brussels police have seized the cars of Uber drivers, a Berlin court issued an injunction against the use of the service and Parisian cabbies are vandalizing Uber cars. "Uber's critics see the service as a race to the bottom, a way of ducking valuable regulations in place to ensure the quality of existing taxi services," writes Feargus O'Sullivan.
