MyFitnessPal expands to help people track exercise

The MyFitnessPal application that helps people log their food intake is expanding to help people track their exercise by taking in step-counting data from wearable devices such as Fitbit and Jawbone UP. The app also will count walking steps directly using the M7 chip that is part of iPhone 5S technology.
