Eighth-graders in a French-language class at Hampton Academy in New Hampshire recently traveled to Quebec City, Canada, to practice their French and learn French-Canadian culture. The students stayed in the historic Le Hotel Clarendon and explored Old Quebec City, which still has ramparts dating back to 1759. "These are things they might otherwise never have the chance to see. It was also an interactive history trip for them," said French teacher Nichole Willcox, who organized the trip for a second year.
