Transitional-skills program taps technology for student training

A New Jersey high school has expanded its transitional-skills program for students with disabilities to include hands-on work with technology. Students taking part in the program unpack, configure and deliver computers at the school. "The job market out there is expanding so much for technology," transition teacher Jennifer Varano said. "We think this is a really innovative way in terms of getting our students ready for what's out in the world right now."
