U.S. military should enhance use of renewables, report says

The U.S. military should present detailed models of incorporating renewable energy and energy security in its policies and practices, the Center for National Policy said in a report. The U.S. military's infrastructure is open to power outages, despite the steps it has taken to reach its renewable energy goals as per the Energy Policy Act in 2005. The report recommended ways the military can do to enhance energy security, such as providing energy backup requirement and ranking each facility's critical levels.
