Denver teachers OK contract

Denver teachers yesterday voted overwhelmingly in support of a three-year tentative contract that raises pay between 0.5% and 9.9% next year, gives teachers more say about professional development and other matters, and provides 30 additional minutes in discretionary time. The school board is expected to ratify the agreement Thursday.
