Microsoft seeks to build up online advertising

Microsoft adCenter, the company's online advertising platform, is currently being tested and will replace the Yahoo! subsidiary that has been providing ads alongside Microsoft's search results. AdCenter will allow advertisers to target specific demographics, but expectations for the platform are for slow growth, as Microsoft competes with Google and Yahoo!.
