WHO asks Roche to distribute stockpiles of Tamiflu

Roche Holding is deploying rapid-response stockpiles of its antiviral drug Tamiflu in response to a request from the World Health Organization, which said the threat of an H1N1 flu pandemic remains "imminent." The Swiss drugmaker said it has increased production of the drug during the past week to meet growing demand for the treatment.
