Is the BP oil spill America's Chernobyl?

Greens are comparing the spreading slick off Louisiana's coastline to the Exxon Valdez disaster, and even to the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. Oil "may not be radioactive, but it's toxic," notes one senior Sierra Club official. At the other end of the spectrum, Rush Limbaugh says some oil naturally occurs in the water and thinks we shouldn't bother cleaning up the mess. "The ocean will take care of this on its own," he says. "The turtles may take a hit for a while, but so what?"
