BSGI helps measure tumor response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy

A study involving breast cancer patients showed that breast-specific gamma imaging can accurately measure tumors after neoadjuvant chemotherapy is administered before surgery. "This allows for more precise surgical planning prior to definitive surgical procedure in this population of women," the lead researcher said.
