Intel taps clustered servers for data-center routers

Intel Labs says it has figured out a way to use reconfigured server clusters, called "router bricks," as data-center routers that can save IT money. The technology making it happen is Click Router, an open-source application that ties the servers together. Intel says the bricks can help IT with content delivery, Internet routing and network power management.
