Embraer CEO awaits Boeing plans on 737 successor

Embraer is awaiting word from Boeing on the company's plans for a 737 successor before embarking on plans for new aircraft. "I can't tell you for sure if [Embraer will divulge its plans] after the [Paris] airshow or by the end of the year," said Embraer CEO Frederico Curado. Embraer could update its current E-195 jet or build a new jet.
