Congressional research body issues nanotechnology safety report

The Congressional Research Service issued a report containing information on nanotechnology development in the U.S. The report discusses environmental, health and safety issues surrounding nanotech products and their manufacturing processes. "There is general agreement that more information on EHS implications is needed to protect the public and the environment; and to create a regulatory environment that fosters prudent investment in nanotechnology-related investment," according to the report.
