Hawker files for bankruptcy with $2.5B in debt

Hawker Beechcraft filed for bankruptcy protection on Thursday. The aircraft manufacturer filed for Chapter 11 to reorganize $2.5 billion in debt in a pre-arranged restructuring agreement. "We are pleased to have reached an agreement with our largest lenders and bondholders on a solution to stabilize our capital structure," said Steve Miller, the CEO of Hawker Beechcraft.
