Samsung intros speedier, larger Galaxy S III

Samsung Electronics on Thursday unleashed the Galaxy S III, the next iteration of its popular flagship smartphone, with twin goals: to challenge the iPhone ahead of Apple's next update and to avoid further patent lawsuits from its rival. The Android 4.0-powered handset include a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, voice-recognition features meant to rival the iPhone's Siri, free Dropbox online storage and a music service designed to compete with iTunes. Samsung said it would unveil a 4G version of the phone this summer.
