Screens get bigger, but various sizes remain

Smartphone-makers are pumping out handsets with increasingly larger screens, making the iPhone 4S look relatively small at 3.5 inches, notes a published report that points to the line of Samsung Galaxy phones as well as the new HTC One X, which will span 4.7 inches. Yet these models pale next to the 5.3-inch Galaxy Note hybrid device. Analysts say phone-makers will continue to produce devices of various sizes because users do not share universal preferences.
