Will the common core improve learning?

Properly implemented Common Core State Standards are likely to improve student achievement in math, according to a recent study. Researchers based their findings on test scores in states where standards already are closely aligned with the common core, and found that students in such states performed better. However, researchers said their findings are not solid proof but aim to predict likely outcomes from the implementation of the new standards.
