Third-class medical exemption is a top priority for pilots

General Aviation News publisher Ben Sclair writes that implementing a third-class medical exemption for pilots of four-seat, 180-hp or less aircraft, flying during the day in visual flight rules conditions should be a higher priority for the Federal Aviation Administration. In an open letter, he asks FAA Administrator Michael Huerta how he can help spur a decision on the exemption.
