U.S. jobless rate eases to 7.5%, job creation figures revised up

The U.S. unemployment rate edged down to 7.5% in April while new hiring figures for the previous two months showed stronger gains than previously reported. Aside from months that included Census Bureau hiring, the 332,000 jobs added in February, revised from 268,000, is the most since November 2005.
