Private-label organics slash costs for consumers

The Wall Street Journal looks at the growing roster of retailers' private-label organic lines. Supervalu, Safeway and Wal-Mart Stores are among the chains that have ramped up organic offerings as consumer demand for them grows. Supplies of organic ingredients could get tighter if lower prices tempt more shoppers to try the new products.
