Soda companies gear up for new school rules

Beverage companies will spend up to $100 million over the next several years to retrofit school vending machines and fulfill a promise to stop selling high-calorie drinks in schools, according to an industry group. Former President Bill Clinton, who brokered the agreement announced Wednesday, hopes to get food manufacturers to do the same.
