Jones sweetens the hit to profits

Jones Soda's profits suffered recently because of the expensive transition to using pure cane sugar in its beverages, founder and CEO Peter van Stolk said. However, the company still has high potential for growth with its new five-year distribution deal with National Beverage Corp., which moves the niche soda into mainstream markets.
