Boeing, analysts differ on 787 outlook

A Boeing Co. official said Sunday that initial test results appear positive, and the much-delayed 787 should be ready for its first flight later in the current quarter, with deliveries scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2010. But at least one analyst is not so sure. After listening to Boeing's certification briefing, Bernstein Research said Friday it expects 787 deliveries to be delayed by at least six months.
