Flavonoid seen as ovarian cancer blocker

The flavonoid apigenin, found in celery, parsley and tomato sauce, can cut ovarian cancer risk by as much as 20%, a study suggests. The study's scientists say more research is needed, but the findings could lead to "an important and modifiable means of ovarian cancer prevention."
