YouTube cracking down on unauthorized product placements

Google unit YouTube, as part of a push to drive sales from its video content, is putting on notice content providers who integrate brands into their clips without getting YouTube's approval. The increased policing of the site comes as YouTube plans to release a new set of guidelines for the use of product placements.
